Mads Rundstrøm (Radikal Ungdom) has announced that he is running for President of The Nordic Centre Youth (NCF). Rundstrøm is 24 years old and is studying pedagogy in Horsens. The last one and a half years he has been a substitute to the board of NCF. He has been active in a number of organizations both nationally and internationally, including student organizations. He is also on the list for Radikale Venstre in Aarhus municipality which is the second largest in Denmark in the upcoming elections.

“The recent year has offered its share of difficulties. The Covid-19 pandemic has disrupted the political system, our personal lives, as well as our organisation.
We cannot let these problems knock us out.
NCF must continue to work together for ambitious and sustainable nordic cooperation to ensure a visionary organisation on the other side of the pandemic.”

The Nordic Centre Youth will elect a new board and a new President at the Repskap online, 26 September 2020. The current Operating President Hildur Guðbjörg Benediktsdóttir (Samband Ungra Framsóknarmanna) is stepping down, after leading the work of the NCF for a year.
